Rest assured, this software fully complies with the Health Information Privacy Code and the Privacy Act 2020, safeguarding your personal information. You might notice your doctor speaking to the computer at times during your consultation, as they use Heidi to optimize your care.
Winter Flu/ Covid Symptoms
Important Health & Safety Guidelines – Cold/Flu Symptoms and COVID-19 Precautions
If you have strong cold or flu symptoms, please follow these steps:
- On arrival at the clinic, remain in your car and phone reception to let us know you have arrived.
- Wait in your car until a doctor or nurse contacts you to enter the clinic.
Alternatively, if you need to come inside:
- Wear a face mask before entering.
- Inform reception immediately upon arrival.
Some appointments may be suitable for a virtual or phone consultation. Our doctors will advise you if an in-person visit is necessary. Please note that standard consultation fees apply to phone and virtual consults.
We ask all patients to help us protect our staff and community by:
- Wearing a mask when required
- Maintaining physical distancing where possible
- Following all infection control procedures
If you:
- Suspect you have COVID-19 symptoms, or
- Have been in close contact with a confirmed case,
please inform reception immediately.
